Pennsylvania Blanket Chests
Mainly originating from Berks and Lancaster Counties. Most are dovetailed and in fair to great condition - some with tils and some without. I do very little to alter the chests and most are decorated just as they are found - blending the new paint with the antique finish to aquire an original look.
Most are Decorated with same designs as the Pennsylvania Germans used. Once in a while, I offer a design of my own.
I usually have several in stock, all sizes and condition, but they are not always easy for me to find. If you have a chest of your own that you would like painted, please call or email for details and pricing.
Most chests are priced in the $800 to $1,200 range and shipping is available.
